Bit6 Partners With Telerik, a Progress Company, and Releases Verified Cordova Plugin on Telerik Marketplace
Access to Community of 1.5 Million Developers Democratizes Real Time Communications Technology, Makes it Faster and Easier to Create Great Apps
HOUSTON, April 16, 2015 -- Bit6 (www.bit6.com), a communications-as-a-service platform provider that helps transform the app experience by allowing developers to easily embed real-time communication features to any mobile or web application, today announced a partnership with Telerik, a Progress company, to add the Bit6 software development kit (SDK) to the Telerik Verified Plugins Marketplace. Bit6 is the first plug-in in the Marketplace that offers voice calling, video calling, text messaging and photo/video attachment sharing capabilities.

The Telerik Verified Plugins Marketplace is a first-of-its-kind gallery of Cordova plugins to extend and empower cross-platform hybrid mobile development. Before being added to the gallery, the Bit6 SDK was thoroughly tested and documented to help ease app development initiatives. According to Telerik, more than 40,000 organizations across 94 countries make use of Telerik products, including around 450 of the Fortune 500.
