FORT WORTH, Texas, Jan. 29 -- Responding to the media now means answering to Web site inquiries and bloggers'' requests for interviews, as well as the traditional on-camera or print interview. Dan Keeney, APR, of DPK Public Relations will share his tips and "red flags" for working with the new news media during a PRSA professional development seminar and luncheon on Feb. 14 at the Petroleum Club. Keeney will provide media training, as well as on-camera practice and critique to participants.

Keeney is the president of DPK Public Relations, a Texas-based firm specializing in crisis communications planning, crisis communications response and crisis recovery as well as media relations, marketing communications and spokesperson training. A 21-year veteran of the communications field, Dan is four-time winner of the public relations field''s highest honor, the PRSA Silver Anvil Award.
