Reliant Park Empowers Event Planners and Patrons with New Tendenci®-Powered Web Site
HOUSTON, Jan. 8, 2007 – With nearly 600 events annually, 350 acres of land and four venues for entertainment and business, Reliant Park is empowering its visitors and event planners with a new interactive Web site (www.reliantpark.com). Designed by Schipul - The Web Marketing Company (www.schipul.com) and powered by Tendenci Web marketing software (www.tendenci.com), Reliant Park’s new Web site provides expanded interactive tools to assist the destination’s many guests and patrons as well as meeting planners and promoters.

Increased Online Functionality
The new Reliant Park site provides everything needed for a meeting planner or guest when inquiring about Reliant Park. It allows users to find upcoming events, ask questions, sign up for newsletters, view floor plans, buy tickets and even book events. The online event calendar provides viewers with the complete listings of booked public events as far out as six months and a search tool provided by Google to help quickly locate event and venue information.
Inside Track E-mail Newsletter
Visitors can quickly and easily sign up for the “Reliant Park Inside Track,” a free e-mail newsletter that provides members with updates on breaking news, ticket specials, special offers and much more. Inside Track subscribers are able to gain access to tickets sooner than most of the general public.
360 Tour and Floor plans
Another state-of-the-art feature of the new Reliant Park Web site is a virtual 360 Tour of the facilities. This online tour enables meeting planners and guests to view the interior of all venues and get specs for the millions of square feet of venues and meeting space on property. The virtual tour includes brand new and up-to-date floor plans, which are also available on the Web site in PDF format, to be used as an easily accessible tool for patrons and event planners alike.
Interactive Maps of Reliant Park and Houston Attractions
The new Reliant Park site offers four interactive maps to Web site viewers – an aerial of Reliant Park itself, a map of Houston, a downtown Houston map and a map of the nearby Galleria area. These maps allow meeting planners to find hotel accommodations and give the general public parking information, venue orientation and even a mapped listing of area bars, restaurants, retail outlets and entertainment options near Reliant Park.
Reliant Park Video, Brochure and Photo Gallery
Reliant Park’s new video and brochure can be viewed or downloaded directly from www.reliantpark.com. The Web site features a large photo gallery to showcase some of its exciting events and the incredible flexibility the complex has to offer. Media are able to login to a restricted part of the site for work purposes and other visitors can find information on non-profit opportunities as well as full-time/part-time job and internship opportunities.
Reliant Park News and Event Information
The new Reliant Park Web site features press releases, media alerts and functions to help site visitors stay up-to-date with Reliant Park events. Reliant Park rules and policies are listed as well other helpful functions such as box office, suite and service provider information.
